New restaurant PDQ to open this weekend

EVANS, GA (WFXG) -

The new restaurant PDQ is holding sneak previews for friends and family before their big grand opening Sunday morning.

The new fast casual dining spot is located in Evans at 4311 Washington Rd, and PDQ stands for People Dedicated to Quality.

Former NFL quarterbacks Tim Tebow and Vinny Testaverde own the restaurant here in Evans, and operating director John Cox wants people to know that their business brings a new level of quality for their food.

"We do everything here homemade from scratch. We do fresh cut fries, we make our sauces homemade from scratch, we don't have even have freezers in the building so we do bring the fresh fast food," Cox said.

The official opening to the public will be Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and Cox said there are already plans in the works for another PDQ to be built at Washington Road and I-20.
