Investigators arrest suspect in Aiken Co. Circle K robbery

AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WFXG) -

A man wanted for the armed robbery of a Circle K gas station turned himself in to Aiken County investigators Wednesday night.

Jeremy Jacob Grey of Aiken is accused of robbing the Circle K at 2557 Wagener Rd. on Aug. 28, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the store around 10:14 p.m. The clerks told deputies that a man wearing light-colored blue jeans and a black shirt came to the register, covered his face and demanded money. The man fled the store in a grey Nissan pickup truck.

Grey contacted the sheriff's office around 10 p.m. Wednesday and asked them to meet him at a store in the Bath, S.C. area so that he could turn himself in.
