MARTINEZ, GA (WFXG) -

Columbia County deputies are looking for two men wanted in a purse-snatching that happened in a Lowe's parking lot Saturday night.

A 58-year-old woman told deputies that she was getting in the passenger side of her husband's truck in the parking lot of the Lowe's on Bobby Jones Expressway when a man came up behind her, snatched her purse and ran, according to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office incident report.

The man then got into a silver car that was parked several spaces away, according to the report. The car sped away and made a right turn out of the parking lot onto Bobby Jones Expressway toward Washington Road.

The victim described the man as a black man about 6' tall, 180 pounds and of slender build. She also said he was possibly in his 20s and was wearing a plaid shirt and a black and white floppy hat.

Deputies said the man pictured in the attached photo was an accomplice to the crime.

The victim's purse, which was a Coach purse, contained the victim's credit and debit cards, and her cell phone.

Anyone with information about this incident can call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at 706-541-2800.
