Aiken County deputies are trying to identify two men suspected of stealing a truck Monday and crashing it into a house early Wednesday morning.

The Ford pickup truck was stolen Monday from the 400 block of Cherokee Drive, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. A patrol sergeant spotted the stolen truck in the Hunter's Gate neighborhood early Wednesday.

Around 3:38 a.m. Wednesday, the sergeant saw the stolen truck leaving a house on Silver Fox Way and signaled it to stop by turning on the lights and sirens on his patrol car.

The vehicle refused to stop and left the roadway a short time later and struck a parked vehicle and a house in the 5200 block of Silver Fox Way, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said two men got out of the truck and ran. The bloodhound tracking team and investigators searched the area, but didn't find the men.

The sheriff's office said the men in the photos are suspected of stealing the truck. They also believe they are the ones who fled from the truck Wednesday morning after crashing into the house.

Anyone with information about this case can call the sheriff's office at 803-648-6811 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC (1-888-274-6372).
