WAGENER, SC (WFXG) - A 19-year-old man is charged with driving under the influence after troopers said his truck ran off the side of the road Saturday night, ejecting two passengers.
Cody Prescott is charged with two counts of felony DUI, according to Aiken County Sheriff's Office records.
Two helicopters were called to the scene of the wreck on Kennedy Pond Road in Wagener around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol. Prescott and one of his passengers were flown to area hospitals.
The other passenger was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
Troopers said Prescott was driving his 1996 GMC pickup truck when he ran off the side of Kennedy Pond Road, struck the embankment and overturned.
Prescott was released from the hospital and booked at the Aiken County Detention Center Sunday.
The S.C. Highway Patrol MAIT Team is investigating the wreck.
