With a little less than a month away from the start of the Big E, officials debuted some new treats that can be expected at this year's fair.
A predicted big hit is Beer-A-Misu, a twist on the Italian favorite, tiramisu, made with beer, at the New England Craft Beer Pub on the Avenue of States.
Other offerings include deep fried s'mores, fried dough topped with bacon and maple syrup and fried eggplant.
Officials said old favorites such as the Craz-E Burger and strawberry shortcake will still remain on this year's menu.
"We're doing the Craz-E Burger again, this is probably our sixth or seventh year with the Craz-E Burger. We really thought that should have a shelf life of a year or two but it keeps going," said Vice President of the Eastern States Exposition Susan Lavoie.
Opening day for the Big E is Sept. 12 and it runs through Sept. 28.
