DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

An Air Care unit was called to an accident with entrapments Friday in Delhi Township.

A minivan and SUV collided at Rapid Run Road and Wilderness Trail around 11:30 a.m. Dispatch confirms emergency crews had to extricate someone from the minivan.

Police believe the minivan, 1995 Chrysler Town and Country, went left of center and struck a 2013 Honda CRV.

Police say they had to cut a 71-year-old man out of the minivan.

The Honda driver was a 53-year-old woman from Delhi according to police.

There were no passengers in either vehicles and both drivers were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries, according to authorities.

Police believe a medical issue is a possible cause but are not sure at this time.

Police are still investigating the accident.

FOX19 NOW will update this story as more details become available.
