EMANUEL COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

A Swainsboro man is behind bars after being charged in multiple burglaries and thefts in the Ranch Park subdivision of Emanuel County, according to the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office.

James Albert Vaughn, 22, was arrested and charged with robbery and multiple counts of burglary and theft after investigators received a tip that he was in possession of items stolen during a home invasion.

Deputies searched Vaughn's property and found other stolen property, according to the sheriff's office.

Vaughn was recently released from jail on bond for similar charges, according to the sheriff's office. After the new charges, his bond was revoked and law enforcement will not consider future bond.

He is being held at the Emanuel County Sheriff's Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing, deputies said. If you have information related to this case, contact the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office at 478-237-7526 or the Swainsboro Police Department at 478-237-8967.
