Woman robbed at gunpoint at Aiken Wal-Mart

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

The Aiken Department of Public Safety needs help finding a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint Friday in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart.

Authorities say the woman was sitting in her car at the Wal-Mart at 2035 Whiskey Rd. around 12:00 p.m. when a man walked up to her car and pointed a gun at her demanding money.

The woman gave him her cell phone and an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the in a white color car.

Anyone with information related to the robbery or the identity of the male subject is asked to contact Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372). Callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
