2 dead in New Orleans triple shooting

New Orleans police are investigating a double homicide after three men were shot in the Desire Neighborhood. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Edith Weston Place. 

Officers arriving on the scene say they found three men shot inside a red four-door Jaguar. Two unidentified men were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third victim, identified only as an 18-year-old man, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
