Man shot in back at south Toledo apartments

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man was shot in the back Sunday morning in a south Toledo apartment complex.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. at Norwich Apartments, near Reynolds Road.

According to police, another person drove the victim from the scene to a local hospitals. An update on his injuries has not yet been released.

No arrests have been made.

A separate police report was filed at the same location Sunday morning, involving an officer.

Toledo Crime Logs show that an officer was assault at Norwich Apartments around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say these were two unrelated incidents.

Details on both assaults have not been released.
