AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, Governor Nikki Haley and Sen. Lindsey Graham is scheduled to visit to the Savannah River Site on Monday, according to SRS.

Moniz will meet with workers, local elected officials, and stakeholders to talk about the technology and progress made at SRS.

Undersecretary for Nuclear Security and NNSA Administrator Frank Klotz will also be there on Monday.

The Mixed Oxide Fuel (MOX) Fabrication Facility will be included in the tour of the site on Monday as the future of the facility is still uncertain after President Barack Obama put the project on a cold-standby and then lifted the order until October.
