Missing Beech Island man found safe

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

A missing man from Beech Island has been found safe. 

Willie D. Widener returned home to his family over the weekend, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety. 

Widener had been missing since July 4, when he was dropped off in downtown Aiken by a family member.
