Comfort Suites to host wedding vendor site tour, expo

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Comfort Suites Augusta is hosting a site tour for wedding vendors on Thursday.

Manager Eric Tyburski said the event is for planners, bakers, limo drivers, and everyone in between.

"We're looking for all wedding vendors of Augusta, to participate in a site tour," said Tyburski. "We'd like to get everyone in the community, from photographers, to bakeries, to limo drivers all to come under one roof and congregate and get to know each other."

    The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accidental shooting in Warrenville. According to Capt. Eric Abdullah with the sheriff's office, a child was shot on Oxpens Rd. Monday evening.

    An Augusta man has been arrested after investigators say he made threats against the Augusta Commission on Facebook. On Sept. 24, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office was notified by a member of the Commission about the alleged threat.
