ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The two Anderson men charged in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting of a local rapper were denied bond during a hearing on Saturday.

Lt. Sheila Cole of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said 26-year-old Royres Patterson was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with the death of 20-year-old Brandon Willingham.

Terrance Mandrell West, 39, was charged with accessory after the fact of murder and accessory after the fact of attempted murder.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on June 7 near the intersection of Oliver Street and Hall Street, according to Cole.

A vehicle drove by, firing multiple shots and hitting the man and woman, Cole said.

The two victims were taken to the hospital, where Willingham died.

Willingham was an up-and-coming rapper from Anderson who went by the name Jugg Money.

The second victim is expected to survive and has spoken to investigators, according to the sheriff's office.

Patterson surrendered himself to the sheriff's office, according to Cole.

Cole said no other arrests are expected.

A county magistrate was unable to set bonds for West and Patterson's charges during a hearing held Saturday morning. The two suspects will continue to be held at the Anderson County Detention Center until a bond hearing with a circuit judge can be scheduled.
