HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A special ceremony was held on Friday at the Space and Rocket Center for the facility's newest attraction.

It's a 3-38 NASA Astronaut Trainer Jet. Kennedy Space Flight Center Director and former astronaut Robert Cabana led several dignitaries in cutting the ribbon on the T-38.

The jet was mounted in a flight position at the center's shuttle park. That's where the pathfinder orbiter is on display.
