Man charged after shooting at Aiken apartments

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

A 30-year-old man is behind bars after Aiken investigators said he fired shots at multiple people at an apartment complex in April. 

Marion Lonnelle Pope, 30, is charged with three counts of first-degree assault and battery, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety. 

No one was injured during the shooting, which happened on April 22 at Hahn Village on Bradby Lane. Investigators said Pope shot at several residences in the neighborhood, but didn't hit anyone. 

Pope is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
