GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will linger around for the early evening hours with skies remaining partly to mostly cloudy. We will see rain chances diminish as we get into the overnight hours and temperatures fall into the mid to lower 60s by early Friday morning.

Skies will start off partly to mostly cloudy on Friday as highs climb into the upper 80s across the Upstate and lower 80s across the mountains. We can see scattered showers or thunderstorms begin to develop by early afternoon and continue for much of the day.

Friday night will see scattered rain slowly decrease once again as temperatures drop into the 60s. The weekend will continue to see hot temperatures throughout the day with scattered afternoon storms.

Look to see a pleasant Father's Day with highs in the lower to upper 80s and partly cloudy skies. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible as well as this summer-like pattern continues.
