Voting underway for SC primary election

Polling precincts across South Carolina opened to voters at 7 a.m. for the June 10 primary election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Voters can confirm their polling location by visiting the S.C. Election Commission website.

Citizens are encouraged to verify the hours in which their polling location will be open with the county boards of elections as hours can vary.

Voters are also asked to bring a photo ID. Check the acceptable forms of ID on the S.C. Election Commission.
