Wildfire Weekend cancels Greenville dates

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Bon Secours Wellness arena announced that Wildfire Weekend has canceled their Greenville dates.

The event was scheduled for the weekend of June 13-14 and was expected to include activities, exhibits, workshops and speeches in a Christian-centered environment.

The arena said in a press release in part:

Although last year's event at the Bon Secours Arena had more than 8,000 men in attendance, registrations for this year's conference were low, even with the stellar lineup that was offered. While we were very much looking forward to being with you again in Greenville, after some long and difficult meetings, considerable prayer, and serious deliberation, the Wildfire Conference Team has sadly decided to cancel the Wildfire Weekend for Men event scheduled for June 13-14. We are extremely disappointed and sorry that this conference will not take place.

They said refunds will automatically be issued over the next 180 days.

According to the organization's website, the Tampa dates have also been canceled.
