WASHINGTON, GA (WFXG) - Police are questioning a person of interest in Monday night's fatal shooting on Buster Avenue.
Jamarcus Callaway lived at the Buster Avenue home where 31-year-old Carlos Wynn was found shot, Sgt. Philip Perkins with the Washington Police Department said.
Wynn's wife was at Callaway's home Monday night, Perkins said. When Wynn went to the house, he was shot twice in the upper chest.
Wilkes County Coroner J. Blake Thompson said Wynn was pronounced dead at the emergency room at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Wynn's body is being sent to Atlanta for autopsy, Thompson said. The autopsy will be performed Wednesday morning.
