A 25-year-old man is behind bars after deputies said he led them on a high-speed chase that started in Richmond County and ended in Aiken County.
Curtis Prince is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and failure to stop for blue lights and siren, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
Prince is accused of fleeing from deputies Friday in a stolen car, leading them on a chase through two counties at speeds up to 85 miles per hour.
When the car he was driving started to run hot, Prince got out and ran, deputies said. He was caught a short time later.
Prince is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
