AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The Augusta Spring Greek Festival started Friday afternoon in downtown Augusta.
The festival features live music and authentic Greek food and dancing. Festival attendees can also tour the church and buy Greek artwork and other items.
Festival attendee Monte Mike says he enjoys the festival and likes being able to experience other cultures.
"We came to experience a little foreign food from Greece and it's very interesting looking at the roasted lamb over there that really took me by surprise and the weather is good and we enjoy the music already," he says.
The Greek Festival continues Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
