Posted: Updated:

Candidates for the Republican primary for the 12th congressional district debated Sunday night in Atlanta in a televised debate for Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Atlanta Press Club.

WFXG's Nick Lulli was selected as a panelist for the debate.

Rick Allen, Rep. Delvis Dutton, John Stone, and Diane Vann participated in the debate; Eugene Yu missed his scheduled appearance, and was represented by an empty podium.

The candidates are hoping to clench the nominee in May for the general election against Rep. John Barrow in November.
