Limestone Co. students fill Ford truck with donations

LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A group of Limestone County students filled a Ford truck with donations for tornado victims.

They collected all kinds of items Saturday afternoon, from clothing to cleaning products. The donations will go to families in the Coxey and Clements communities.

A group of students in Rogersville also pitched in. They collected items Saturday as well, and filled a second truck with donations.

    Good news out of a court hearing in Richmond County for Pendleton King Park. It's looking like the Park will remain a park, according to a Foundation member. In a court hearing on Tuesday, District Attorney Natalia Paine said the state recommends two of the three Trustee's be removed and replaced by other entities.
