AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA has received three-year re-accreditation from CARF International for its program serving individuals with disabilities.
The accreditation is for community employment services: job development; employee development services; and employment skills services: workforce development.
For more than two decades, Goodwill has continuously maintained the CARF accreditation that represents the culmination of a rigorous peer-review process and site visits from surveyors who ensure programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable and accountable.
"We are honored to once again receive CARF's validation of Goodwill's programs for persons with disabilities," said Johnnetta Anderson, Goodwill's Director of Quality. "CARF accreditation ensures that our programs are conducted within strict guidelines that provide the best outcomes for those whom we serve."
In addition to job training and career development services focused on individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, Goodwill also operates the Good Vocations program that assists those with disabilities in securing employment through custodial and shelf-stocking services at Fort Gordon and Robins Air Force Base.
