Burke Co. High School teacher accused of inappropriate relationship with student

BURKE COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

A Burke County teacher has been arrested on allegations of a sexual encounter with a student, according to the Burke County School Board.

Ashley Nicole Ashe, 25, has been working at Burke County High School for three years, but was placed on administrative leave, according to the school system.

Ashe turned herself in around 9 a.m. Tuesday. If convicted, she will be charged with aggravated child molestation.
