Jonathan Courson pleaded guilty to killing his wife, Mandy, in their Appling County home. Judge Wilkes sentenced Courson to life with a possibility of parole plus six years.

Courson called 911 the morning of Jan. 4, 2013, to report a home invasion. He told investigators that intruders broke in overnight, tied him up and murdered his wife. But investigators soon arrested him and charged him with the murder.
