AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Early voting for the May 20 primary and local elections starts Monday, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp said.

Starting Monday through May 9, Richmond County voters can cast their ballots only at the Board of Elections office at 530 Green St. between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Saturday voting will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 10 at the Board of Elections office, the Warren Road Recreation Center, the Henry Brigham Recreation Center and the Diamond Lakes Regional Park.

Extended hours for advance voting will begin May 12 between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the same locations as Saturday voting.

All voters voting in person must provide one of the six acceptable forms of photo identification and do not have to provide a reason for voting.

Voters participating in the general primary should be prepared to choose their party preference.

Voters who live in other counties can visit the Secretary of State My Voter Page to find early voting locations in their counties. Voters can also see sample ballots on that page.
