Aiken School of Cosmetology is looking for high school students to be models in their Decades of Hair Fashion Show which will be held May 9.
Proceeds from the fashion show, which starts at 6:30 pm at the USCA Convocation Center, will benefit the Children's Cancer Center.
Male and female students are encouraged to participate in the fashion show. Models will be paired with a cosmetology student who will style the model's hair and possibly nails. Categories for the show include Decades of Hair, Formal and Avant Garde.
The model casting call will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Aiken School of Cosmetology located at 225 Richland Avenue East in downtown Aiken. The school has over 60 spots to fill to allow each Aiken School of Cosmetology student enough models for each of the three categories.
"We hold a fashion show twice a year to give our students a fun way to practice what they have learned in school, and it allows us to raise money to give back to the community," Owner of Aiken School of Cosmetology, Angela Morrison, said. "We would love to see more participation from our community, so we thought we would get high school students involved."
