AMITE, LA (WAFB) -
A man accused of getting into a
fistfight with a councilman about a year ago is now facing another charge.
Gerald Wilson, 36, of Amite, is now
charged with threatening a public official in connection with a fight at the
Amite City Hall in May 2013.
He was reportedly booked into the
Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Friday, but was released shortly thereafter.
Councilman Jonathan Foster was also
arrested and charged back when the fight broke out.
He has simply waited until now to
file charges against Wilson.
