AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The address was put on by the Technology Association of Georgia, or TAG for short, and the association opened it's Augusta chapter in 2012.
Some of the major highlights focused on security and job growth. Georgia ranked third in the nation for information security and Augusta has the second highest growth rate in technology behind Atlanta.
TAG president and CEO Tino Mantella says the industry is the best it's ever been and there is a ton of potential for Augusta.
"With Starbucks and then the cyber command, the Army cyber command moving here, it's creating a couple thousand jobs more and that's going to be a game changer because I think other companies will surround around the information security area,' Mantella says.
