Windows shot out at Augusta clothing store

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - A clothing store on Dean's Bridge Road now has more than $2,000 in damage after the windows were shot out Sunday.

Richmond County Sheriff's deputies were called to Big City Styles around 4 a.m. Sunday after the store's owner received a call saying the windows to the store had been broken.

Investigators found 13 rifle shells in the parking lot and several bullet holes in the storefront and merchandise.

Business owners in the area did not want to go on camera but told WFXG that crime in the area is becoming a problem and they would like to see more police monitoring the area.
