TRAFFIC: Westbound drivers on Interstate 10 should expect delays near bridge

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Westbound drivers should expect long delays while crossing the Interstate 10 bridge over the next few days.

Crews from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development are closing the lanes to do bridge inspections and roadway maintenance.

The outside lane of I-10 westbound, from the Shattuck Street exit to the Westlake exit, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day through Wednesday, April 30.
