FROM EARLIER:

Three men are in custody after an armed robbery Friday at loan office in Wagener, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a 911 call at B&B Loans at 105 Railroad Ave. West Friday afternoon, Sgt. Jason Feemster said.

Two men entered the business, demanded money from the employee, who was the only person in the business at the time, Feemster said. One of the robbers was armed with a handgun.

The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash that belong to the employee, not the business, Feemster said.

Deputies got a description of the robbers' vehicle and later located a vehicle matching that description on Highway 302 near Kitchens Mill. Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained the three men inside.

The employee of B&B Loans was not injured during the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
