AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Several lane closures are scheduled on Augusta roads this week, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
One lane on each side of Deans Bridge Road between Glenn Hills Drive and Kipling Road will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The west inside lane on I-520 also will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A single lane on Wrightsboro Road from Maddox Road to Flowing Wells Road will be closed between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Motorists should also be aware of roadway and slope repair on State Route 10 (Gordon Highway) between mile markers 15 and 16, and on State Route 121 (Peach Orchard Road) near mile marker 8.
That work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Heavy equipment may be entering and exiting the roadway at some locations.
GDOT officials ask motorists to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in all work zones.
