Paula Deen is making her first public appearance in Savannah since Uncle Bubba's Oyster House closed earlier this month.
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Paula Deen spoke Thursday at a Tourism Leadership Council meeting in Savannah.
Deen along with son Bobby Deen and members of her management staff were all there to talk about her career and Savannah.
She made her first public appearance in Savannah since Uncle Bubba's Oyster House closed earlier this month. She is talking about her business and empire and her family's latest ventures in regards to tourism.
"There is something very magical about this beautiful place we call home. I am so proud my family, my extended family, my team. I am so glad we have had a chance to be a part of this wonderful community," Deen said.
Deen told me outside that if you look close, she has a cane and a boot because her dog knocked her over and she broke her foot.
