AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County deputies are still looking for clues after a hit-and-run killed a teenager Saturday.

Zykeith Harris, 14, and another juvenile whose name has not been released were both hit around 11:30 p.m. on Gordon Highway near Olive Road. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies have not made any arrests and do not have a description of the vehicle.

"We are working with limited information," Sgt. Michael McDaniel said.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office said witnesses can help them out though.

"If anyone has any information, they are being asked to come forward," McDaniel said.

Deputies said crossing Gordon Highway is tricky, and they see two to three people trying to cross daily.

"Be mindful of your surroundings," McDaniel said. "Try to walk at crosswalks."

To contact the sheriff's office with information call 706-821-1000.
