PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are asking the public to help find the suspects in the fatal shooting of a man Thursday night.

The 33-year-old victim was found with several gunshot wounds inside a Chrysler 300 in the area of 5800 North 33rd Avenue about 7:15 p.m., said Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson.

The victim, Leoncio Larranaga, was taken to a Phoenix hospital, where he died from his wounds.

Witnesses told police two vehicles were seen in the area during the same time frame, but didn't know whether the vehicles were involved, Thompson said.

One vehicle was described as a white Ford Lightning pickup truck and the other as a white Chevrolet Tahoe with a silver or black trim strip on it and may have large custom wheels.

Anyone with information about the incident, vehicles or who the suspects might be are asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151, Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377), or 480-TESTIGO (480-837-8446).
