April 10 marks 13 years since Fisher family murders in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

It has been 13 years since Robert Fisher's family was murdered inside their Scottsdale home and Fisher remains on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list.

Scottsdale police said Robert Fisher's wife, Mary Fisher, 38, and their two children, Brittney, 13, and Bobby, 10, were killed inside their home and then it was set on fire to cover up the murders on April 10, 2001.

Ten days later, Mary Fisher's vehicle was found in the wilderness near Payson. The family dog was found near the vehicle but authorities never found Robert Fisher who remains the only suspect in the brutal murders, police said.

In 2011, CBS 5 Investigates went underground to the nearby caves where some believe Fisher may have been hiding. [Related: '5 Investigates' team goes underground in Robert Fisher search]

The Scottsdale Police Department and the FBI continue to search for Robert Fisher, 51, to bring the case to closure for the surviving family members.

Fisher is described as physically fit, with a gold crown on his upper left first bicuspid tooth.

The Scottsdale police and the FBI said they continue to receive leads on Fisher but no information has surfaced on his whereabouts.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. Call 480-312-5000.
