O'More design alumni help transform historic Franklin home

FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

After 75 years as a place of business, an historic Williamson County home has been restored to its former beauty.

Four decades of designers from O'More College of Design brought the Franklin home back to life, as part of 'Traditional Home' magazine's National Showhouse Tour.

Those hosting the event know it takes a special kind of vision to take on this type of challenge.

"It takes a lot of talent and an ability to envision things, and interior designers can bring that to the project, seeing the potential," said Amy Elbert, architecture editor of 'Traditional Home' magazine.

The home is on West Main Street in downtown Franklin.

Tours began Friday and will run through April 27.

Tickets are $20 at the door.
