Lend your voice to a virtual choir for Fort Lee

Fort Lee is asking the public to help put together a tribute for the Army's birthday.

You can lend your voice to a virtual chorus singing the official song of the Army, "The Army Goes Rolling Along."

The base is asking anyone to record their own rendition of the son and send it to Fort Lee. They'll put all the submissions together and premiere it on the base at a ceremony for the Army birthday in June.

The Army says to make sure you read or send in the legal release. Recordings can be made digitally on a smartphone, so long as they are high quality. The Army says not to worry if you're not a good singer. This effort is more about getting everyone involved, than showcasing a great voice.

All submissions have to be in by May 15, so the base can get the video ready for the June premiere.
