Crews fight brush fire in Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Firefighters are working to put out a brush fire in the Highland Avenue area. 

The fire started around 5 p.m., according to Augusta Emergency Services. It has spread from near Highland Avenue over to Driftwood Drive and River Oak Road.
