GRANITEVILLE, SC (WFXG) - An organization that helps local people get jobs is getting a million-dollar upgrade.
The Megiddo Dream Station is a nonprofit in the area that teaches unemployed and underemployed adults how to become better job candidates.
The construction project will include the addition of three new buildings across a 10-acre campus in Graniteville, S.C. The organization's executive director says with the new building, they're outreach will likely triple.
"It's incredible to think of the number of lives that we're going to be able to reach with this expanding facility," Kay Benitez said. "We have had so many students come through and we've had to put so many students on waiting lists so we determined that we had to build a larger building."
The initial groundbreaking is scheduled for February of 2015.
