Third annual Pig Jam

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Plenty of people turned out for the 3rd annual Pig Jam to benefit the Sacred Heart Cultural Center.

Guests enjoyed good food, entertainment and a chance to fellowship with others in the community, right in the center's garden.

Organizers of the event say the $35 tickets couldn't have gone to a greater cause.

"It benefits the upkeep of Sacred Heart," said Gould Hagler, the event's organizer. "Keeping up a 116 year old church takes a lot of hard work and dedication."

Organizers say they exceed their attendance and ticket sales and already have a date set for next year.
