AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The city of Augusta has released its traffic operations plan for the Masters Tournament.
The plan includes special routes for traffic heading to and from Augusta National Golf Club, a plan for pedestrians and extra Richmond County Sheriff's stations.
Electronic signs on I-20 and on roads around Augusta also will help direct traffic.
Traffic information will be broadcast on two radio stations during the tournament, which is scheduled for April 7-13:
- 580 AM - between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and between 7:30 and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
- 99.5 FM - between 6 and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, and between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
