Richmond County deputies are asking for the public's help identifying a man they say used a stolen J.C. Penney credit card at the Augusta department store.

Deputies say the man in the photos entered the J.C. Penney in Augusta Mall on Dec. 11 and made an unauthorized transaction on a stolen store credit card.

The man was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, blue jeans and a green shirt with writing on the front, according to the sheriff's office.

Anyone with information about the man can call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080 or the Criminal Investigation Division at 706-821-1020. Callers may remain anonymous.
