AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson will re-open for tours Thursday.
The historic site was closed for five weeks for plaster repairs. Generous grants were provided by the Knox Foundation and the Creel-Harison Foundation in order to complete this work.
Historic Augusta is working to raise more funds to re-paint the home in its original documented colors.
Guided tours of the home are offered Thursdays through Saturdays on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
