AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County deputies are looking for a man who they say stole money from the Chevron gas station on Gordon Highway.

Deputies say the man in the photos entered an employee-only area of the station on March 18. There was money lying on the desk in the office before the man entered, deputies said. When he left the area, the money was gone.

The man is in his mid 40s and is bald with a dark goatee, deputies said. He is about 5-foot-7, weighs about 170 pounds and was wearing a dark jacket, blue athletic pants with a white stripe on the sides and dark sneakers.

Anyone with information about the incident or the man in the photos can contact Deputy Angela Gates at 706-821-1088 or any on-call investigator at 706-821-1080.
