Kids nationwide will be taking a stand against tobacco Wednesday.
March 19 is National Kick Butts Day, a time for youths to stand up against smoking.
Experts at National Jewish Health say the danger now is not only cigarettes, but a growing threat from e-cigarettes. They say in one year, the number of middle and high school students who tried e-cigarettes doubled to nearly 2 million.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, tobacco companies spend $8.5 billion a year, nearly $1 million each hour, to market their deadly and addictive products.
